The Rolex GMT-Master, first introduced in 1955, was designed for aviators and world travelers, becoming the definitive tool for tracking multiple time zones. The GMT-Master II refined the concept in the 1980s with an independently adjustable local hour hand. In 2022, Rolex surprised collectors with the launch of the reference 126720VTNR — nicknamed the “Sprite” — the first left-handed GMT-Master II, with the crown and date window positioned on the left side of the case.
