Few modern watches have achieved the mythical status of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116500LN. Introduced in 2016, it was the first stainless steel Daytona to feature a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel, combining classic design DNA with modern Rolex materials technology.
This example is no ordinary 116500LN—it is an extremely rare “Oman Edition”, produced in collaboration with the Sultanate of Oman and issued through the country’s royal retailer, Khimji Ramdas. The black dial bears the distinctive red Khanjar emblem, the national crest of Oman, making it one of the most collectible contemporary Daytonas ever released. Watches bearing this royal insignia were produced in very limited numbers, reserved exclusively for dignitaries and VIPs.
