In 2023, Rolex introduced the Cosmograph Daytona “Le Mans” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the world’s most legendary races. This exclusive edition, reference 126529LN, is crafted from 18k white gold and features a black Cerachrom bezel with a distinctive red “100” marking at the 1 o’clock position — a tribute to the centenary milestone of Le Mans. The reverse side reveals a special “24 Hours of Le Mans” engraving on the caseback, unique to this commemorative reference.
This May 2024 example captures the model’s fusion of performance and heritage, pairing a black dial with white subdials reminiscent of the vintage “reverse panda” layout. Inside beats Rolex’s latest chronograph calibre, the Calibre 4132, specially modified to display a 24-hour counter — a subtle nod to the endurance nature of the Le Mans race. Offered in unworn condition and complete with its full set of box, certificate, and booklets, it stands as one of the most significant modern Daytonas ever produced.
